Explanation of food boxes

Monthly Food Boxes:

USDA MyPlate

Food boxes are prepared twice monthly and are available for pick up at 2425 E. Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ, on the first and third Fridays of the month between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. The entrance is from the parking lot in the rear of the building. The food boxes contain meats, produce, canned goods, dry goods, grains, dairy, and nutritional information that enable clients to make healthy eating choices. All five USDA MyPlate food groups are represented. For more information on the USDA's recommendations for healthy meal planning click here.

On the first Friday each month a representive from Central Eligibility will be on site from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and a nutritionist from Southwest Center will be on site from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Food box items

To request a food box:

Email your food box request to...agapefoodrequest@gmail.com or call 602-234-6143 by the Friday prior to the Friday food box distribution day and tell us that you want a food box. So, on the first and third Fridays you pick up a food box, and on the second and fouth Fridays you request your food box. We prefer that you email your requests!

Emergency Food Boxes:

AGAPE maintains a supply of food available to eligible clients in case of an emergency. Contact us using the phone number or the email address above and tell us your needs.
